Twits of the Lower House

Reading the article about Rep. Ellison's astute worldview in the Telelgraph brought this Monty Python sketch to mind about our House of Representatives: Twit Olympics

Speaking of Twits... This link over at Gateway Pundit contains two interesting statements by the Right Honorable Twit Reid.

"Now, Republicans are using a filibuster to block us from even voting on an amendment that could bring the war to a responsible end,"

and...

"If Republicans do not allow a vote on Levin/Reed today or tomorrow, we will work straight through the night on Tuesday. The American people deserve an open and honest debate on this war, and they deserve an up or down vote on this amendment to end it."

ok.. now consider those two statements while watching this: Reid's idea of an open and honest debate to surrender in a responsible way.

These guys are politiclly pandering and postering pond scum. This crap is so naive it borders on delusional. These people cannot be allowed any further power after 2008. The damage they've done to the war effort in the last few months so they can gain more seats is beyond repair. Treasonous vermin.
