Investigate This Conyers

Speaker Pelosi, when questioned about going forward with investigations of the Bush administration concerning possible crimes against humanity, attempted to absolve herself of responsibility by suggesting that the Democrats have no choice because of the law:
"I think you look at each item and see what is a violation of the law and do we even have a right to ignore it," the California Democrat said. "And other things that are maybe time that is spent better looking to the future rather than to the past."
Madame Speaker, the law requires the President of the United States be a natural born citizen. Many in this country believe the burden of proof of his eligibility has not been given up to now. In your altruistic respect for the law would it be possible to find a little time to investigate this possible grave violation of the law and high crime of fraud against the whole nation?

She has promised us the most ethical Congress ever.
